Flu Cases in North Carolina Rise

Flu cases have been rising in North Carolina, especially at universities. Close quarters are very favorable to the virus. The number of cases in the whole state this past week was about three times the number from the week before. The article pointed out the fact that the flu is transmissible before symptoms arise, just as we learned. It also suggested that the following be vaccinated: pregnant women, child-care providers, the elderly, anyone with a chronic disease, and children from 6 months to 5 years. Taking antivirals within one to two days after contracting the virus can attenuate the symptoms.!business&s=1037645507703
