Hey guys, I was traveling near Kampala when the first outbreak occured, so I've been keeping tabs on the Marburg outbreak there for a while. Although they thought they had it contained, apparently in the course of further investigation a local aide to the investigators has gotten sick. They seem to think it came directly from a colony of bats that the researchers were studying. I hope they can look at his case and maybe learn something about the kinds of activities that may result in transmission of the disease from animals to humans. See you tomorrow!
