With mass vaccination advances in developed countries, there is an ongoing worry some of the poor nations in the world are being left behind. With the recent suspension of the AstraZeneca vaccines in European countries from fear of blood clot formations, this number might even be increasing. In addition, Tanzania, Burundi and Madagascar have indicated they will not be seeking vaccines at the moment until more scientific data is acquired on the vaccines.
